Horse riding also means continuous learning. Learning how to take care of your ponies/horses, training to improve yourself as a rider, and making your horse better. Our club, Groentenjumping, wants to support riders and equestrians in this journey.
Often, children come to Groentenjumping to watch, and they too get bitten by the horse bug.
We also want to make time for a first experience with ponies. Every year, we breed a few ponies at Stal Ceulemans, and they are now well trained.
There is also the possibility to bring your own horse or pony for the lessons/camps/training sessions.
The camps take place on different dates in July and August and are tailored to different levels, from beginners to advanced riders. Together with Groentenjumping, we want to show what horse riding truly entails. Not only is riding itself important, but also caring for and lovingly handling horses plays a major role.
During the camp, participants can enjoy fun and education in a pleasant and educational environment. The children are divided into small groups based on their level. They can participate in a varied program with riding lessons, pony games, crafts, and sports challenges.
For the youngest and beginners, there is the introductory camp (July 14-18), where they can get acquainted with the basics of pony care and handling in an accessible way, with personal guidance.
More experienced riders can challenge themselves further during the jumping camp (August 26-28), an intensive clinic with show jumping training. We will also attend the Nations Cup on Friday during CSIO Wolvertem.
Registrations are now open, but spots are limited, so be quick!
Interested riders can register via email: kristel@groep-ceulemans.be. They will then receive the brochure.
Participation requires membership with Paardensport Vlaanderen.
Make it a great summer, and who knows, in a few years, you might participate in Groentenjumping yourself!
